Service, Struggle and Sacrifice is the Hallmark of OBC Morcha.

Today, political parties perform a number of functions. Of these, the role of political parties in policy formulation, research and implementation has increasingly become important. The basis of any political party’s programmes and policies is the philosophy centred on its core ideology.

In this context, In India, the programmes and policies initiated by the BJP government are driven by Pandit Deendayal Ji’s philosophy of ‘Integral Humanism’ and concept of ‘Antyodaya’. Of late, the same spirit is reflected in the motto of ‘Sab ka Saath, Sab ka Vikas, Sab ka Vishwas’ given by Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji. In this context, various policy measures have been taken by the present BJP government for the welfare and empowerment of poor and backward classes.

In this regard, the objectives of Policy and Research Division of BJP OBC Morcha are:

1. Assist policy makers in planning and formulation of specific policies and programmes to alleviate the backwardness of the OBCs.
2. Scrutinise various existing policies and programmes and make them in consonance with the interests or preferences of concerned voters.
3. On the implementation level, finding loopholes in the exciting policy frameworks and initiatives for the OBCs and suggesting new ideas or best practices to remove the same.
4. Bringing ground level issues impacting the OBCs forth to the government machinery and setting up proper redressal mechanism for the same.
5. Research and investigation into on-going narratives of fault-lines susceptible to misuse by opposition forces and thus pre-empt and prepare in advance for any negative narrative.
6. Bringing forth the neglected stories of inspiring personalities from the OBC communities in the public domain.
7. Finally, promotion and advertising the various policy measures and initiatives taken by the BJP government for the welfare and empowerment of the OBCs so as to make them reach to the last mile person.

The Policy and Research division under the able leadership of Shri Pankaj Choudhary Ji have taken many steps to fulfil these objectives. Various reports on the background notes on points related to the OBCs in the 2019 BJP Manifesto have been prepared and are available on this website.
